Dr. David Barrett
Pain and Wellness Group of Lexington, KY is the brainchild of Dr. David Barrett. Pain and Wellness group provides a full-service clinic for patients interested in improving their health. We offer a variety of services including: spinal screenings, massage therapy, nutritional counseling, lifestyle advice, corrective exercises, non-narcotic pain management (large joint injections, trigger point injections etc.) and chiropractic care.
Dr. David Barrett has treated thousands of patients in his over 10 years experience. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a safety degree and went on to work for Toyota in Georgetown, Kentucky. It was here he discovered his passion for Chiropractic. Dr. Barrett graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2004. He worked as an associate for five years before opening his own clinic in 2008. In an effort to move closer to family, Dr. Barrett relocated to Lexington, Kentucky in 2014. Dr. Barrett, his wife Sarah and their children live in the Lexington area. Dr. Michael Growse
Dr. Michael Growse graduated from the University of Western Ontario Medical School, Canada, in 1974.
After completing his required internships, he became a partner at a Medical Center in Tillsonburg, Ontario. He was also appointed Chief of Staff for three years.
He relocated to Kentucky where he practiced General Medicine in Versailles, Frankfort and Lexington.
From 1998 to 2012, Dr. Growse was employed as a medical officer with the Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington. He was appointed Clinical Director in 2000. He retired from the BOP in 2012.
In October 2015, Dr. Growse began working with Pain & Wellness Group. He is in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, treating patients with knee, shoulder, back and hip pain and so much more!
Thomas Campbell D.C.
Dr. Thomas Campbell graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February 2000. Being from Greenup County Kentucky he knew Kentucky was the place he wanted to begin practicing. He has also been an instructor at local colleges, teaching anatomy and physiology. He is at his best when helping others to reach their goals in life and health. He enjoys his work by finding opportunity where he can be part of a community. It is his goal to help others find and unlock their potential.
